Learning in the Library
This year in the library we have read books about feelings, pillars of character, friendship, and bullying. We have also learned about different types of stories such as comedy, adventure, and mystery. We are working on identifying our favorite types of books to read. I enjoy hearing the students tell me what books they enjoy and why. Grades 3-5 have also been working on how to use the schools website to find books as well as how libraries are set up. My goal is that the students feel comfortable going into any library and are able to find the book they are looking for. I hope you and your student have enjoyed the books they have brought home this year. We have also tried a few new things such as Flash Light Friday's and Lego construction. It's hard to believe the school year is almost over. Happy reading!
